“There’s a bigger chance that we won’t fix this then there is of something going wrong, I can say that.” He looked at her with a determined look set on his face to disguise his worry and nodded. “Ok. Good luck.” Hope was all he had now as he closed his eye and started mumbling something unintelligible.
Wendy was too afraid to ask the chances of them not being able to fix her current situation. At least he wasn’t freaking out; his determinedness kept her calm, even though all she wanted to do was to scream and throw things. “Thanks again, Dip. I really owe you for this.” She sat back and watched in fascination as he began to mutter under his breath, unable to make out his words.
