Early autumn was settling into the town faster than Wendy had expected, but she wasn’t going to complain. Autumn had always been her favourite time of year, if only for the apple cinnamon flavoured everything. But, aside from the slightly cooler weather, Gravity Falls remained the same. This wasn’t surprising; Wendy doubted anything had changed in the town since the 1980’s.
It was a good day for wandering around, with the weather as nice as it was. Hands in pockets, Wendy strolled down the main street, keeping an eye out for anything interesting. She was a naturally curious person, which was why she slowed down at the sight of an unfamiliar person. He didn’t look dangerous or supernatural, so Wendy felt perfectly okay with walking up to him.
"Yo, you new around here? Or just visiting?“
