Wendy thought she knew everyone in the tiny town that was Gravity Falls and it always took her by surprise when she came across an unfamiliar face. Guilt would shoot through her at the thought that she might have forgotten someone, followed by relief when she realised that no, she honestly had never seen them before. Being away from home for half the year while she was at college meant that she no longer knew every single person in town.
She saw this newcomer during a visit to her former place of employment, the Mystery Shack. She didn't seem like a tourist, so Wendy decided it couldn’t hurt to strike up conversation. “I don’t think these eyes are real, do you?” She held up the jar she was talking about to emphasise her point.
