When Lulu’s emotions did make a surprise appearence, they tended to switch about a mile a minute. Anger in partiular, rage, spite, vengance, different sides of the same coin, dirty things she kept contained, used to keep up appearances in town. Hid to not attract any more attention than was absolutely necessary.
The clouded eyes didn’t help. Neither did being the youngest person in Gravity Falls with a cane.
“Your Mom.” she remained silent for a few moments, “How did she go?”
"Y'know, the Hide Behind.“ Wendy moved to wipe the tears that had begun to sting the corners of her eyes. She hated talking about her mother, but only because she loved her mom so much when she’d been alive. "Wrong place at the wrong time, I guess. Happens to everyone.”
It was hard for her to discern Lulu’s expression, but this was to be expected. She’d learned a long time ago that she would probably never know what Lulu was feeling at any given moment.
