”Dipper?!” Wendy ran through the forest to find him, cursing herself for getting so stupidly separated from him. His scream was the most horrible sound in the world to her and she would do anything to keep him safe. “Dipper, what’s wrong?”
“Wendy…y-you don’t understand, that journal protected me and Mabel from getting eaten by a demon!”
Dipper bit his lip, “I’m trying to calm down! It’s difficult though. I…I don’t see howI even lost it! I usually keep it with me…unless I somehow dropped it, or someone stole it…”
"No, you’re right, I don’t understand. But that doesn’t mean I can’t help you find it. C'mon, let’s go back. I doubt anyone could’ve stolen it right off of you without you noticing, right?” She gently grabbed his wrist and began to tug him along, her eyes roving the forest floor for any signs of the journal.
