It was another ordinary, humid summer day in the tiny town of Gravity Falls. Wendy was just taking a stroll through town—none of her friends were home from college yet and she had no other obligations to be anywhere. She hadn’t been paying much attention to anything when a kid caught her eye. Wendy had never seen him before and she was certain she knew everybody in the town. Considering her lack of plans, it couldn’t hurt to go up and talk to him.
She gave the teen a friendly smile and a small wave. “Yo, ‘sup? You new around here?”
