Wendy should have realised wandering the forests with her group of friends late at night wasn’t the best idea. It was too late for hindsight, as Wendy and Tambry were currently facing a legion of creatures. Of course, the guys were cowering behind them, leaving them to fight the monsters, whatever they were. It was too dark to tell, but she thought they might be zombies, or even vampires.
Slipping her ax from its holster, Wendy was as ready as she’d ever be to wreck some stuff. She glanced over at Tambry, half expecting her to be furiously texting on her phone.
