“Well, the easiest solution is probably to just go through basic info an’ stuff. Like, the real Wendy would know when they were born, what hospital…right?” But, obviously, if one said the correct information, the other would be accused of simply copying them. Still, there was no way the shifter could know that stuff about her, so maybe it could still work? They could take turns shooting off information? But what if they both got all the stuff right? How would they know it was legit? Man, why did doubles stuff always have to be so complicated. Well, not too late to just grab the stick, knock her out, and have the local hospital run some dna tests…or maybe Dipper’s journal had something on this. "Ugh, man, the movies didn’t prepare me for this."
A beat.
"…You know, I’m gonna be totally honest with you, I’m surprised you haven’t tried to kill me yet."
This observation took Wendy by surprise and she briefly wondered if she was playing mind games to get Wendy to attack. "Why would I? I’m not the freaky bodysnatcher dude here. If anything, I’m been waiting for you to make the first move.” She stared at her double askance, still wary. Even though she knew she could take anyone in a fight, she’d really rather not have to fight herself again. “I guess we could take turns going through the basics, but what if we're both right on everything? What do we do then?”
