“Anything for a friend.” He smiled a little but it didn’t last long. “Ok, but before I uh summon him, I have to tell you something about this particular Bill.” He might as well explain the real reason why he wore the eye patch. Dipped didn’t feel comfortable knowing that she told him what was wrong honestly and yet he lied about what happened to his face.
“Sure thing. What’s up?” The notion that he might not have been completely truthful had never even occurred to her. Seeing Dipper so solemn felt out of place and almost frightened her. Dread filled Wendy as she patiently waited for him to tell her whatever it was he wanted to say.
