“That’s part of the problem. You’ll have to talk to him alone . I-I won’t be able to talk to him with you once he’s here.” Dipper’s expression was serious. It didn’t matter if he had to go to the extreme or not, having to owe Bill a favor was a much better alternative than Wendy having no soul.
She nodded in understanding. She wasn’t too worried with just talking to the demon, but she wasn’t going to do anything to put Dipper in serious trouble. It would just be a small talk to try to figure out a negotiation, or even if Wendy wanted to negotiate anything. “Alright, dude. I think I’m ready, then.” She paused before adding, “Thanks, Dip. This means a lot to me.”
