“Dude!” Wendy squealed when Tambry dumped water on her. She knew she’d dared her to do it, but she didn’t Tam would actually go through with it. Laughing, she pushed the wet hair from her face. “That was awesome!”
“Yeah, he was! He even managed to sneak one of his explosion graffiti things on a wall around the eighteenth hole before the ‘King of Golf’ or whatever tried running him off.” She finally tore her gaze from her pet and beamed up at the taller girl, the memory of her days with Robbie apparently banishing any fears she had concerning the relationships between anyone in the group.
“I know! He’s so stupid, man. Dude, you know how it hasn’t rained in a while, right? I mean, not since before that Gideon-bot explosion. But he keeps uploading pics of himself ‘in the rain’ everywhere all the time. I’m, like, five million percent sure he’s just standing in the shower with his hoodie on to get those pics.” She snorted a little before giggling uncontrollably, hugging the mildly peeved feline to bury him in affection.
"Did they ever catch him?” Considering how fast Robbie ran, Wendy doubted it, but she was still interested all the same. It sounded like she was missing out by not hanging out with the entire group, but she hoped to fix that in due time.
"Oh my gosh, does he really?“ She burst into loud laughter. Even if she was irked at Robbie, she still found entertainment in the dumb things he did for attention. There seemed to be no end to the things he would do to further his image. "But are we really surprised? This is Robbie we’re talking about. You know how ‘artistic’ and 'brooding’ he thinks he is. But, like, I’m kinda surprised he’d go that far, you know? Isn’t he worried about ruining his precious hoodie?”
