Dipper knocked on her bedroom door before cracking the door open a little and peeking in. “Hey Wendy, are we still up for movie night or what?”
She nearly jumped at the knocking on her door. Ever since she came home, she’d been constantly checking over her shoulder for her father. She didn’t know if losing her soul would result in a physical change, but she wasn’t going to find out by using her dad as a test subject. Upon seeing it was just Dipper, she offered him a tight, forced smile. Wendy had forgotten about their movie night. “Yo, Dip! C'mon in, dude. I just gotta do something really quick, but then I’ll be ready.”
