The scream left her mouth as soon as she felt the rush of cold water pour down on her. She whipped around to find…a floating triangle? She shouldn’t be this surprised by it, but it still jarred her for all of ten seconds. “Uh…hi?”

Now she felt silly and childish at having to give a reason, but that didn’t mean she wouldn’t go through with it. “My mom. I want my mom back.”
